New Forest
Blackwood Academy is situated within a particularly dense part of New Forest, which also includes broad stretches of heathland and pastures. The open parts of New Forest are often grazed by ponies, cattle, and donkeys, and the forest itself is home to all manner of wildlife, including all three species of British snakes.
